Norm Miller entered the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network at age 19 as a college intern while attending Vincennes University (1972) and Indiana State University (1974-1977).

Having had a successful and rewarding internship experience (ranking in the Northwestern Mutual College Intern Top Ten 1976 nationwide), he continued his practice full-time in Evansville.

He also continued his professional education, earning the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 1978, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 1980, Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) in 1983 and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) in 2006, all from The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

When The American College and the Society of Financial Service Professionals jointly adopted a continuing education program for CLUs and ChFCs in 1989, Norm Miller quickly committed to participating. The ongoing program, Professional Achievement in Continuing Education (PACE), helps Norm stay on top of the changes that affect his clients.
